ALL ABOUT US About JERRY Jerry has been a resident of Pleasure Island since 1949.     He drives on many of the tours and his knowledge of the island and it's history is invaluable. The fact that he really knows his way around and under a Rover doesn't hurt! He's the one that makes sure Zork is in tip-top shape. About BARBARA Barbara, the lead guide, earned her BS in Marine Science and her MS in Environmental Resource Management; but it is her status as a resident of Pleasure Island and her activities in local environmental efforts which give her a unique knowledge of the island environment. She is also working towards her North Carolina Environmental Education Certification Her driving skills? She frequently takes the Land Rover off-road course and has been driving on the beaches of Pleasure Island for years. Her years of experience and very outgoing personality will make whatever adventure you choose a memorable, safe and fun one. How outgoing is she? Well, as her Father once said, "There's outgoing....and then there's Barbie..."
